Guanacaste has some amazing beaches. Along with the South Caribbean beaches of Puerto Viejo and Cahuita, the beaches in Guanacaste are the most beautiful ones in Costa Rica. Also, the diversity of beaches in Guanacaste is vast. Long sandy beaches, open beaches, coves and bays, rocky beaches, coral reef protected beaches, white sand beaches, dark sand beaches, brown sand beaches and even dark blue – black beaches are found here.  What also makes the beaches in Guanacaste so beautiful is the combination with surrounding nature. It is not only the ebach itself, but also estuaries, wildlife, tropical forests, mangrove forests and alive habitats.
