The Corobici River is an important river for the irrigation of the province of Guanacaste. Also, in its lower part, where is turns into a wide slow moving river, it is an important fishing source for local coastal towns and local fishermen. The lower part is also highly interesting for birdwatchers and ecotourists alike, since crocodiles, birds and other animals like amphibians and reptiles can be spotted. The Corobici is called Rio Bebedero in its lower portion and plenty of ecotourists go on our Bebedero River Tour.
