Guanacaste offers so many attractions and highlights, it is quiet difficult to list them all. Guancaste offers beautiful beaches, tropical dry forests full of wildlife, amazing and alive volcanoes with mud baths and steam geysers, large national parks with trails and an abundance in animals and plants, rivers, lakes, cozy little countryside towns and culture, nice cities and much more.

If I had to list the attractions Guanacaste is famous for, I could start with Tamarindo, Conchal, Flamingo, Papagayo, Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Nosara, Samara, Guiones, Pelada, Barrigona and San Juanillo beaches, followed by Santa Rosa, Lomas Barbudal and Palo Verde National Parks and ending with Rincon de la Vieja, Tenorio, Orosi and Miravalles Volcanoes. Activities incudes scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, ecotourism, adventure, canopy zip line tours and so much more.
